Our stories are our myths. They keep alive the fire and breath of who we have been, who we are and who we will become.
Capturing visual images of women she sees throughout her days and from her memory, Charly creates women who are universal in form; rather than being of any specific woman or of any specific culture or race.
In a similar way Charly ‘listens’ to the women she sculpts to guide her in the telling of who they are, their story: the stories of womankind.
